    I hope you'll give us more of a chance. The Error Coins forum probably provides the most hostile reception of any, because it gets so SO many people coming in with a cent that was run over in a parking lot who are absolutely convinced that it's their key to retirement.

    Whether or not you have any interest in ancient coins, I recommend visiting that forum here. It doesn't draw trolls, and the people there are super-nice to begin with, so it's got a very different atmosphere.

    I will have to give it a try. I know absolutely nothing about ancient coins, although I do have a few that my dad gave me. I chose modern coins to start with because they are more readily available to me, but as you said, it seems that the majority of the salt is also in the modern coin sections so it may well be worth the time to read through and see what I can learn. I appreciate the direction, thank you!
