    Another example of the futility of trying to grade from a photograph. Tilting the coin and observing the breaks in the luster would surely reveal the location of the doctoring.

    I would be looking at what NGC said. I can't see it in the images but it would be very rare for NGC to be wrong about this issue.

    Yeah, I don't see the spot in your pictures. It might be clearer in hand?
