1950 S and 1951 PDS Roosevelts for the Whitman album

    Here are the 1950 S and 1951 PDS toner Roosevelts for the Whitman album. I did NOT do a 1950 PDS thread before the 1951 PDS thread, as the 1950 PD were part of the original album, and are IMO unattractive (P) and blah (D) respectively. The images are by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.

    I really love the toning on the 51s and 51d. They are beautiful, and very select for Rosies. The 51 Philadelphia also has great toning. My compliments on these choices! They are also higher grade than the 1940 era ones.

    Very nice. I'm trying to put together a toned, AU/MS set in a Capitol Plastics holder.
