1950 D found CRH

    I guess the word "rare" is a relative one... The coin itself indeed may not be all that rare, but due to widespread hoarding, it's a very rarely found in circulation. I've been collecting for 44 years, and have found all of one in circulation/CRH... the only other Jefferson Nickel to have that distinction personally is the 1943-D. I've found at least two of every other date/MM intended for circulation.

    In the context of the Jefferson series it's certainly rare:pompous:, but not expensive:).

    Yes... Heck, the AU 39-D I found last month in circulation is worth a lot more than a BU 50-D! :happy:
