    Does anyone have a wart-nosed lion from Lydia?

    I came back to this thread to see if anyone had posted a wart-nose lion from Lydia circa 700 BC. If someone has one it would be very cool to see a photograph. Here is a rather colorful lion.

    Psyadelic on the last Lion. I love the old one from Thrace been trying to get a nice on for awhile. Here are some lions.

    I don't think I saw anything from Guatemala. Here's an 1893 1/4 Real. I've others but this is the best photo on this tiny coin.

    Then there's the MEXICO Spanish Colonial Ferdinand VII 1809-Mo TH 8 Reales. I look to the lions to judge counterfeits - the lions can look really strange sometimes.

    What an interesting way to look at coins - lions. :)

    Hello Mi chael,
    I zoomed in on your lions. (I assume that yours is a genuine coin which I am studying here). I now know to look for strange looking lions on counterfeits.
