Hello I am new here and just learning about error coins after being a long time collector. This Lincoln penny was found roll searching and almost overlooked. I'm not sure exactly what it is but I found another 7 beside the original. Any help would be appreciated.

It's certainly not another 7. That being said, it's a bit hard for me to tell based on the picture if it is damage or MD.

If I had to guess based on the picture I would have to say machine doubling!

I'm saying MD. If it was a doubled die, you would see more than just the 7 doubled.

    Looks like MD to me.

Very nice find. It appears to be Machine Doubling.

I think the first picture is better. Light will make a huge difference when you are photographing a coin, for sure. I think you have some machine doubling there. Are you using a phone to take the picture of a camera? Are you holding it or is it stationary and are you zooming in?
