1946 s Nickel, is this even worth grading?

    Found this while balancing the registers at work, when i found it i figured it was just another 90's nickel but i figured it may be interesting when i saw the '46 date. it looks pretty good for a 1946 found in circulation, but does it look good enough? i understand there was a low mintage in this year at 13 million, but I've also read that many collectors hoarded BU rolls when they first came out. I brought it into a local dealer and she told me she would sell something like this for 50 cents. idk, what do y'all think?     Nope. It's nice looking but not worth the ~$30 spent to get it graded.

    You can grade it for free. It's the slabbing that costs money.

    The fifty cents is probably about right. Still nice to find a decent coin of that age though.

    I agree with the rest. No slabbing and keep it for your own collection. It's in nice shape! Good eye!
