1946 Penny error?? (Strange)

    I see a damaged cent as well. This is not a die issue.

    The OP isn't going to accept anyone's opinion on this coin, as he has trouble grasping the concept of displaced metal. If something hits the coin at a slight angle (as already stated), the metal "snowplows" upward from the gouge, forming a raised line as shown. That's all it is... nothing more, nothing less.

    ok, just got back from a bbq~~~ahh~~dude..you got to buy one. If you like the cents, as I do, you need one. Or what ever your coin of choice is~~~~a picture is worth a thousand, or 2 dollars!!
