I guess I fall into the category that some others here are in. I wish you would spend at least as much time learning to give us a good, clear photo as you do dreaming of finding a variety or error.
Gee! Putting me on Ignore is too bad because you won't get to read this. Most of the time, your opinions are so far off that they give people who really want to learn the wrong impression. That's bad! There is nothing wrong with participating, but it doesn't mean that you have to give incorrect opinions. It is just as easy to say something like, "Gee, I learned something new!"
You're right. It isn't fun for us trying to answer your questions based on poor pictures. We want to give you a good answer, but struggle when looking at unclear pictures. If we can't see what you see, it doesn't benefit either of us.
Do you really want false information given to your questions? That's not fun or good for anyone. You would be wise to learn from cpm9ball and not insult him.
Please put me on ignore as well. You should ignore everyone that corrects false information. That way you won't have to deal with the truth.
Some members respond to questions with straight forward answers, some with witty remarks, others choose a more finessed approach and a few with caustic comments. We have the option to read those responses which are acceptable to us and pass on those which are not. The point is, we have a choice. I have been guilty of less than stellar responses to posts in the past and try my best to be civil.
We have too many people using (and misusing) acronyms instead of writing them out. If I have misunderstood your use, I apologize.
I believe CPM9ball is correct in this post for 1. He is correct and 2. He made a misunderstanding and admitted it, and we would all be better off if everyone did so. I sometimes do the DD (Die deterioration) for Die Deterioration Damage ( DDD) , but never with DDO or DDR ( Doubled Die Obverse and Doubled Die Reverse. Jim
Yep. There are plenty. I can think of 3 or 4 right off hand, but that's what makes us human. If everyone thought exactly the same, life would be dull. As @desertgem stated, the acceptable abbreviation is DDD. I made that same mistake when I first joined here, so no harm, no foul. It just helps members give a more accurate assessment of posters questions.
