I was routing through someone's change and found this. Had a lot of gunk, most I got off but maybe could get the rest off the reverse. I am guessing it is worth melt?

This one basically worth melt. There is a much more valuable variety called "hoof through 6" in the date.

Though I wouldn't use the stuff on any coin that you want to keep pristine, a product called goo-gone removes many many things off a variety of surfaces. I've used it on bronze and it really works .. as well as lots of stuff around the house.

I soaked it in acetone for a couple weeks, a lot of the gunk was removed.

I checked for that design in 6, this obviously doesn't have one.

It is worth melt but looks really cool and I wish I had one for my world type coins. Nice find.
