1944 Wheaty clip

If anybody knows how to make a cut with texture like this I’d love to know how

    That's actually a sloppy cut.

    If you've ever dealt in jewelry design and hand making, or in metals you can easily cut segments out.

    Plus that is a straight cut not a curved cut. I can't recall, but with coins and circles being involved, it should be a curved clip. but I'm no expert on clips.

    It's not straight enough to be a straight clip.
    It's not round enough to be a round clip.
    It's too ragged to be a clip of any kind.
    It's a penny that's been altered after leaving the mint.
    It's worth one cent.

    Nope! But there are straight clips btw. Mike Diamond and Fred Wienberg go over this very thoroughly on their website. Great reading!
