1944 D War Nickel Found in Change!

A few weeks ago, while looking through my change, I found a 1964 dime. Not a nickel, but still cool to me.

Dang, wish I lived back east! I haven't gotten any silver or war nickels in years. That said, I did get a 1946 nickel recently. I love old coins, especially silver quarters, so I keep looking!

 

I work at Walmart at the front with the cashiers. Over the last several months I have gotten 2 war nickels and a couple of buffalo nickels. The 'buffs' were not good ones--I can't read the dates. My goal every day when I come home is too have retrieved at least one wheatie. I'm successful most days!! I get other silver on occasion.
