1944-D Nickel a DDO?

    It looks like it but my coin is much more pronounced than what's shown on variety Vista. How much premium is added to this variety?

    None on the B/R of Liberty or the 944 of the 1944?

    None as in no premium. The toning may bring a small premium.

    Some of what you are seeing appears to be "MDO", or Master Die Doubling. That is, every single coin made that year will show the same effects - such as the inside loop of the R. You have to separate that from the individual hub doubling. What you show looks to me like machine doubling (I see no split serifs), but that may be your pictures.

    If you can match and show a die diagnostic (such as a die scratch or die break, as shown in the link), then it is much easier to attribute your coin.
