    i believe I just found a 1944 best of variety on doubleddie.com. Do you think it’s WDDO-004?

I too am not seeing it. Could you take a picture straight down on the date? Also, does your coin have any of the markers that are shown on the site?

The die gouge shown on Wexler's appears higher and only half across on the right hand upright, while the gouge on your coin shows near the bottom and completely across.
Can you match any other die markers?

Not really. I have a photo of the nose but I can’t tell if anything is there. I’ve gotten other opinions and it’s def a doubled die. I can’t decide if it’s Coppercoins 008 or 005. It would help a ton if you could let me know your opinion

    Walt Knoch It sure is

One way to find out, send it to Mr. Wexler himself. Erases the doubt.

Excepting, perhaps, the big one, the 1943, these Class 6s are often so subtle as to many times I suspect defy detection. I wanted to see LIBERTY to see if the letters were bent in the right direction, and they are. Thanks. Again, these are very subtle DDs we're messing with, here.
