Here is my beautiful War-time steel penny... it isn’t toned and has been circulated... what condition would you guys guess?
That's a 1943 Steel Cent.. Your title states 1944. Looks like damage to the rim on the Reverse at 5:00
That would of created a lot of excitement if it were really a 1944 Steel Cent which actually do exist Considered a transitional mint error and worth thousands!
I don't know where my father got his 1943 cents, but I have over 100 of (P) cents, about 25 D's and about 5 S's. Many are in great shape and look like they've been in a box their whole life.
I have a ton of them also with many being worn and showing their age but they are still keepers to me. No comment on grade thanks for posting the coin.
I have them in 2X2s in a coin box I got from Amos. I really don't want something to happen the coin while in the 2X2s.
