So I found a tiny chest with tuns of wheat pennies and some other things like a 1808 admiral Gardner shipwreck coin and the 1943 steel penny and I'm wondering if they sell for much? It's in great condition too so what would you say it could go for? Or should I keep it?

What does the reverse look like? I'm not sure if it has been reprocessed or not.

Keep it. Since it was a significant variation from the copper, and readily available man people kept quite a number of them. Many of us have them.

I just put them away. Not much value but really cool. Welcome to CT.
If you get a chance, take images of the 1808 admiral Gardner shipwreck coin and other stuff. We love images.
