I found out that they only appraise coins that have been authenticated and slabbed.&nbsp; Of course, an appraisal is for insurance purposes.&nbsp; And an insurer would want to have some confirmation of their value, thus the PCGS, etc attribution requirement.</p><p><br /></p><p>Thus from that experience, if someone has appraised your coin, I assume it has been slabbed.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
