The same type of doubling can also be seen on the MM and in the same direction.</p><p>This is not a Doubled Die nor is it an RPM.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Doubling like this is considered and proven to be a malfunction in the striking process. Not a doubling of the working die.</p><p><br /></p><p>RPM&#039;s are a different beast. They were hand punched into the working die before the die was hardened.
