    Welcome to Coin Talk. It would help a lot if you posted clear photos of both sides of the entire coin along with the closeup of the area in question. IMO, judging by your photo it looks more like Die Deterioration Doubling than a Doubled Die. Check this site and scroll down to see what DDD looks like: http://doubleddie.com/144801.html
    Also, get more opinions as I could be wrong.

    I'm Cyndi. New to this chat, but not new to coins. ...hi. I will post some more pics, coin is currently out for grading at pcgs. Just wanted to see what others thought. soon we will know what the "professionals" think.

    Just grading? It's going to get a bad grade.
    Did you also pay for attribution? They won't attribute it if you don't pay the extra fee.

    NAV or no added value doubling. If anything it's a minor variety but if you didn't pay for that attribution you won't get it. Welcome to CT.
