@Pickin and Grinin , you may have ignored this poster but what are your thoughts? Please chime in, love your opinions!
Avery, haven't we had this talk before of what you think you see and fail to learn? Your coin is to circulated and damaged to make a diagnosis. Damage doesn't happen at the Mint. Why do you keep professing that it does?
No sorry's, Avery has a trust problem, even though everyone who has posted wouldn't never lead him astray.
You do realize that he won't get very far, here, disagreeing with everyone when he is looking for answers, don't you? ~ Chris
When you have it examined by the experts please tell us the names of the person(s) that verified the errors. If you click on the link provided to you by @Danomite and learn how coins are minted, you'll see how improbable it is to have un upside-down D under the D in GOD. No one here is trying to give you false information. There is a overdate 1943 over 2 Nickel. Check it out and compare it to your coin. Let us know if you think you have the overdate. https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1943-2-p-5c-fs/84019 You should contact @mikediamond. He explains in detail how errors occur.
I more than understand. I also understand that Avery thinks we are fool's/ and he can win without learning a thing, he is a work in progress.
While at the coin show.. See if anyone is selling any neat mint errors! There is nothing wrong at at all with purchasing one or a few for yourself. I got this amazing mint error from Fred Weinberg at a show 2 years ago - Cent struck on Dime Planchet And these
If he thinks that everyone, here, is a fool, then he shouldn't even bother posting this crap. You do realize that defending him is pointless, and that sooner or later, he will turn on you too, don't you? ~ Chris
Awwww chris. Don't be mad. Bad communication corrupts good manners. I won't stop posting. If my pics are not clear as once was stated by some of you guys I'm thinking you guys just can't see what i see. No offense!
I AM uniquely qualified. Your coin has not one single error on it. You clearly do not know nor understand error types, nor do you understand how those errors occur. The only error is your ignorance and arrogance. If any person, dealer, collector, etc. agrees with you, please tell us their names. I always like to know which dealers are stupid. I have a nickname for you, which is a play-on-words from a movie and TV series: Avery G. Is the "Bone-head Collector."
I know you guys immediately determined it to be a scratch, so keep an open mind. Here are a few more pics. Definitely not a scratch. Evidenced by where it crosses the letters. Looks like a thin piece of clear tape. I don't know what the dark line is, but it's not a scratch.
