1943 P war nickel RPM

    GH#75 Trying to get 8 hours of sleep in 4. . .

    I found this in a bank roll. I just thought, “Cool, another war nickel.” but on closer inspection, I believe it is a RPM. If it is, I think it looks like an 006. Any opinions would be appreciated.

    Photos (closeups) are too pixelated for me and the full shots a smidgeon out of focus. Quite possible though. Try taking photos of the mint mark without zooming as much.

    Thanks for the extra photo. The base of the P looks interesting, but I don't think it's an RPM. Did you think it aligned with something you saw online?

    There is a similar appearance, but the location of 15 is west of the OP's coin's mint mark. It does look like there is an original mm slightly north of the current position. But it could be irregular die wash. I can't be sure from the photos. Still thinking no unless
