I am wanting some opinions about this coins weight. Could it be a Henning? I know tolerance is .2 grams and it doesn't look to have enough wear to weigh what it does. I took pictures of 2 more 1943P nickels and one seems to have heavy wear making it weigh light. The other looks to have no wear and weighs normal. Thanks for your help! Also, all three coins are 1943-P. 4.6underweight not worn.jpg 4.64underweight not worn.jpg 4.65underweight not worn.jpg not worn obverse.jpg not worn reverse.jpg obverse worn 4.62g.jpg reverse worn 4.62g.jpg worn nickel 4.62g.jpg 1943p correct weight.jpg

Henning nickels had no mint mark. This is one of the fatal flaws that can be used to identify them.

Out of context, but that is one fine looking weight machine. Where would I get one like this and about how much would it cost me. The machine I got from Costco doesn't register anything under a pound.

I also bought one like it on eBay for $10.

Yeah, I see them on Amazon for around $ 10.00. Do you all recommend this as a quality scale ?

It does what the specs on it say it can do. Can't ask for too much more than that for the $10 price tag. It gets within a few hundreths of a gram on coin weights which is good enough for me. Don't know if it is good enough for all aspects of coin collecting, though. But it probably is.
