These are very common on war nickels , I believe Lehigh and I posted some a month or so back. I have one laying on my desk now.
Here's an 1943 S I had on the desk, and just one other that these WWII nickels are known for....Lamination issues.
I know this thread is a year old but I ended up finding 2 war nickels with rim to rim reverse die cracks, both 1945-S's. One is strong AU/MS and the other is avg circulated. Does this crack normally add any value to the coin? Thanks
