A dictatorial or authoritarian regime is more likely to redesign coins, notes, etc. than a basically democratic country that does awkward things (Manifest Destiny, Vietnam). So a coin like the Litzmannstadt ghetto pieces will be more interesting for some because it shows the connection to a regime and a specific period right away.
