As for your coin IMO it looks like the coin was the result of retooling the die that struck it due to wear or there may have even been a filled in part of the die that made the one like that instead of normal. Not an error if either of these senarios are true just cool. I have a 1950-S wheat cent that the die was filled so the 0 looks like an upside down D.
