1941 Lincoln WDDO-005(Wexler)

    Discovered in bag of Lincolns I bought a couple of years ago. Any guesses on condition? Do you think it's an early die? I ask because of the sharpness of the double relative to many I've found pic's of.

    Very nice find. With the flattened ear, cheek and jaw I would grade it a XF40-45.

    Agreed. I looked for the die crack and did not find it either. It may have worn off but it could also be an earlier die state. Maybe I'll post it on Coneca and see if they have an idea.
