1940 p Lincoln Silver Penny Nice Grade

    That is one gorgeous Woodie! They just seem to have a different eye appeal to me. Very nice find in the junk bin!!!! So...I was somewhat on the right track for your question? Still learning my way around here some. Today I will be out most of the day but, I have a few more coins I would really like to post on here. Thanks!!!

    Sorry, but the cent is not a woodie. It is a plating issue causing the lines.

    Wow, see there is so much to learn here!!! So what about the 2 cents I posted? Woodies, or plating issues?

    Now that I have gone back, and looked at the Buffalo nickel again, I see where there is only a few horizontal lines in the pics, not consistent, also I think most of the ones I have seen, and have hoarded,... lol are usually vertical lines...is that a way to learn the correct terminology? Also thanks for the clarification....actually I was replying too Kentucky's Indian head Penny, were you referring to his, or the nickel???
