I just received a Canadian dime in circulation. What drew my attention to it was the fact that it didn't have the Queen on it! It had King George on it. The coin was from 1940. Anyone have any idea if this might be of any value, as I don't know anything of Canadian coins. Is it silver? BTW, it's well circulated.

    Thanks.

Yes your dime is .800 silver and had a mintage of 16.5 million. The retail is about $1 in Fine so its probably only worth the melt value if you wanted to sell it.
