    Hi All,

    Just thought I would take a break from going through all of my coins and go ahead post these pics. I can't believe how nice they still look after all this time.

    You'll want to crop the images in your cell phone before uploading them.

    Otherwise the coins are pretty small in the images.

    but it's neat thinking that the coins are 78 or 60 years old.
    Recently I've been trying to build up my collection of pre-1800 coins. Thinking about the revolution era there and what the coins may have "seen" in that time frame, even who may have touched the coins back then.

    There's another good article in Numismatic News this week about Washington and the first coins ( half disme's ) amongst others. It sheds some light on Jefferson's contributions of personal silver being used. Apparently R.W. Julian is saying that it was not his personal silverware that was used but Spanish Reales.
