I have a fine condition wheat penny with the last number missing. Have looked w loop n see no evidence of tampering. Is this rare and/or valuable as I have found no information on one anywhere.
You could post a pic, but I'm thinking the coin was struck with a filled die and has no value over face.

Welcome to CT. Create your own post, You need to show both sides of the coin in FULL IMAGE and a close up of the date. Then you will get some answers. BUT, don't expect it to be anything more than a normal coin, especially if your info comes from a you-tube click bait video. JMO
If it sticks to a magnet it's probably plated with copper. Also there are 1948 cents that are altered to look like a 1943. It could also be a counterfeit 1943 Cent made by China.

Most likely a Grease Filled Die issue. Nothing major. I suggest you start a separate thread with pictures.

Approx. One cent. Your missing digit is a filled die error. Generally, missing digits or mint marks on modern coins are due to filled die errors where dirt, grease or debris fills the recesses of a die not allowing the number or mark to strike up. The metal from the blank can’t flow into that area to receive the impression.
