Yep, I it's a dime and I'm pretty sure it's 1939.

 

A nice common circulated Mercury Dime. Worth about a dollar at today's silver spot price.

 

Are you giving it away? I will take it

 

I find them metal detecting!
Some in good shape and others not that good..

I don’t think I have seen one display quite like the last dime you posted, Paddy. Did you find that one on the beach? Salt water corrosion perhaps?

 

I remember it was buried in beach sand.. It was a saltwater bay. Deep.. About 6 inches.

 

Paddy likes to go bury coins then he comes back later and finds them with his detector. LOL
