These years 1938,40 amd 42 have no mint marks. Now back to meat eating plants or " insectivores" the  pitcher plant has large leaves like receptacles, which a sweet sticky syrup is secreted luring the insect into a tube with bristles facing down the tube to trap the insect from excape.This lovely plant is native to Newfoundland.  The 9 coin set can be easily assembled for under $300  in xf grade. Mintages run from 300k-1,996,889 Many of these having wood grain effects too.
