there it is contest will end on Thursday or when everybody mentioned has made there guess good luck !
I will take myself out of contest quickly, but here’s my grade. AU sharpness, no CAC because I don’t think that CAC stickers details coins. The piece too many parallel patches of lines, especially on the obverse.
Grades are somewhat consistent between the two services so we will leave it at that its one of those two.
I tend to be a harsh gold coin grader. AU55 Details (just because your picture shows it a bit ruff on the obverse) No CAC.
The reverse is really good. 58/60 all day and 61/62 on a Monday or Friday I might be a little weak at 55, but grading pictures is a big ask
AU-53, Not Details, Not CAC. Evident wear on obverse and reverse. Those scratches and lines put it on the borderline between straight and details grades but I think they gave it a straight-grade. I think I see some original luster around the stars. The fields don't look quite right in the photos but that could just be an artifact of the photos. I don't think it CAC'ed because whatever grade it actually received, I don't think it's an A or B coin for that grade. Just a bit too beat up, eye appeal isn't there, some weak strike on the obverse. And even though they are mint-made they still affect grade are the cud and the die crumbling on the ribbon with the motto. Better in-focus photos would help as would less glare.
So...this is just a crazy guess...but this has the look of one of those shipwreck gold coins that have been slabbed. My experience seeing those is that they ALWAYS look cleaned but generally are straight graded. But, they net grade them a little low. I have never seen one with a CAC sticker...I assume because they always look damaged (because they are). But collector's overlook the damage because of their history so they are "market acceptable." If I was to grade this, I would say AU55 details...but I'm not going to say that because of my inkling. So...I'm gonna be the odd person here are say this: AU53, No Details, NO CAC
