1936 Wheat Penny great condition

    There are hucksters out there you are constantly telling you that you can make a fortune in coins. Among the worst are the barkers on the Internet coin sales shows who tell you that junk like platinum and gold coated State Quarters are “great investments.” They aren’t. The coins are worth a quarter apiece and will never have a numismatic value because their surfaces have been damaged by the plating.

    Making money in coins is hard. I know because I’ve been a collector for almost 60 years and was a dealer for 15 years. You almost never find something great in circulation. You are more likely to find something in grandma’s old trunk that has not been opened for 50 years, but even that is very hit and miss.

    Collecting coins can be a very enjoyable, but most of the people who enjoy it don’t make money.

    Just so you know $49,500 is exactly how much it cost for all new teeth from the company that says one day total tooth replacement on tv.Not cheap
