Lol! That’s a rather incorrect assumption. The fact that I’ve been a member since 2013 and have almost 7,000 messages ought to have cued you in.

The lukewarm feedback you received on your post about circling “errors” already explains why the request is not really that helpful. You just said so yourself here, that the photos were too blurry, so the use of photoshop or paint wasn’t helpful anyway. Also, very few of the people that post random coins and ask if they’re errors actually read any other threads before posting. As Jim the moderator tried to explain to you, no one who is new and posts such coins will actually read your advice thread. Feel free to ask the OP if she did. My money is on that she didn’t.

Im not exactly sure why you think your age is relevant here. You could be 96, or 6 and I’d still have given you the advice, because it has nothing to do with your age. I hope you’re not under the impression that once you reach adulthood that you no longer have to endure criticism.

I commended your enthusiasm, and I think helping others is a wonderful thing, but I’ve seen enough of your posts to recognize that you are still new at collecting. If you wait just a little longer and see the advice others give, you’ll be able to give better advice to others. There’s a danger in rushing to offer advice without having a solid foundation on the subjects being discussed. We’ve had to correct a number of over eager members over the years, who have told newcomers some very wrong information. If you find the fact that you’re not that knowledgeable in certain areas condescending, and you don’t like being told not to be so eager to give advice, then you have two options: be offended or learn more. Trying to clap back isn’t going to increase your numismatic understanding.
