<p>
I work at Home Depot as a cashier and today I found a 1936 <a href="http://mercurydimes.blogspot.com" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://mercurydimes.blogspot.com" rel="nofollow">Mercury dime</a> in my till. I cracked open my roll of dimes as usual. After ringing out one of my customers and starting to give him change I noticed the 1936 Mercury dime in my drawer. Thinking out loud, "I say wow a 1936 Mercury dime!" The customer said wow can I trade you a dime for it. I was like sorry man, I'm a collector, it's mine! I learned that I shouldn't think out loud anymore! Then I got a 1963 $10 bill. I bought that too. I've been there since October and all I've found is a wheat penny and a $2 bill. However, today was a good day. I never would expect to see a Mercury dime in circulation. I would grade it a VG at least. I scanned in some pictures. I'd appreciate other people's opinion on how it grades.</p><p><br /></p><p><a href="http://www.wideopenwest.com/~nathanbenis/1936%20Mercury%20Dime%20(obverse).jpg" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.wideopenwest.com/~nathanbenis/1936%20Mercury%20Dime%20(obverse).jpg" rel="nofollow">1936 Mercury Dime (obverse)</a> </p><p><br /></p><p><a href="http://www.wideopenwest.com/~nathanbenis/1936%20Mercury%20Dime%20(reverse).jpg" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.wideopenwest.com/~nathanbenis/1936%20Mercury%20Dime%20(reverse).jpg" rel="nofollow">1936 Mercury Dime (reverse)</a>
</p><p><br /></p>
