1936-D Mercury Dime

    Found this at a local thrift shop. Only paid $2.50 for it. What grade/value would you give it? I'm going with F-15'ish because of the scratch on the cheek. I'm still learning on this grading thing. Let's see what y'all think.

    That ugly scrape would relegate it to a "Details" grade and make it worth about melt, I think......about $2.

    I would guess VF30 reverse.

    :thumb:$2.50 not bad for a VF-35 maybe EF-40.
    I would have liked to see this one Gem Bu that chin mark looks like there is a D in it KJ!!!
    still a good cheap silver Mercury Dime!!
