1936 China half fen

    I was going to sell some extra coins, one of them being a 1936 China half fen. My Krause says this is nothing special, 75 cents in F. But looking at eBay, there are only 3 active listings and the lowest priced is more than $30. So what gives? 1936 china half fen.jpg

    Here's a completed sale for $11
    Sounds like $30 is too high and $0.75 is way too low.
    I certainly haven't seen many kicking around, even though they minted 64 million that year...

    It's a one year type. Many of these were melted down during WWII as war metal. Still common but not truckloads like ancient Chinese cash coins.

    Many Chinese coin prices have gone up drastically within the last 10-15 years.
