I found this 1936 Buffalo in a roll yesterday. It's awfully lustrous. I'm thinking cleaned. Am I right? I'm still in the process of learning how to recognize cleaned coins so any and all responses are appreciated.

Yeah, she has been polished up. When a coin looks like the bumper of a 56 Buick you can rest assured that it has been polished up...... Still that's an awesome find in the wild.

I appreciate it. Yeah I've been doing pretty good on Buffalos lately. I'm averaging like 1 or 2 per box. They're usually ones in the 30s but a couple months ago I found a 29 that was in pretty good condition.

Yes cleaned and polished, still a great buy for 5 cents.

There is no way a coin that old, with that much wear should be that shinney. Definitely not just cleaned but polished!
