    AU-50 seems a bit generous to me, but I don't necessarily disagree fully with the grade.

    The cleaning I can see , but I really blew it on the grade . Still AU means a slightly worn coin , and that eagle wings worn almost flat where there's no detail on it . I better start looking at more Peace dollars .

    Don't look at all lack of detail as being wear. These are known for having really weak strikes. To me, if you look at how "worn" the lettering looks, but then notice right by it the rim is still sharp, it tells me it must not really be wear. I would of went 40 on this coin (although I'm too late). The cleaning / photos took away any luster that would of made me think higher.

    Tricky Guess-the-Grade... I enjoyed this one.
