I have a 1932 Wasington Quarte with a defective planchet error graded AU53 by Anacs. Can anyone give me an idea of what it's worth?

It's very difficult to judge the value of an error. If it were listed at auction, and two or more collectors wanted it, there is no telling how high the bid might go. However, if only one person was interested in the planchet error, it might sell for an amount considerably less.

My guess is that it would be worth slightly less than a non-defective planchet WQ, but this is truly and entirely a guess.
