I&#039;d estimate it&#039;s around a 99% probability that the odd colored/textured 1925-D I&#039;m referring to came out of circulation as is.</p><p><br /></p><p>(BTW, it was the aforementioned flood that resulted in the coin collection coming out of the basement a little over a year ago. I&#039;m ashamed now to admit that this is where Granddad&#039;s coin collection ended up for all those years.
