?

When a thread is blocked or removed, should some sort of explanation be given?

What happened to the 1931 5 Centavo thread? I was on that thread from the beginning, and have been following it, then today I clicked on an alert from it and BOOM...."I don't have permission to view this thread".

    WHO SAYS AND WHY?????

Why is it locked behind closed doors?
    Has this thread become controversial?
    What's going on?

It seems to me that, even as just a courtesy, when a thread is locked away, some sort of explanation could be given as to why.

This isn't the first time something similar happened.

Someone became very naughty and the Mods decided to delete it?

    Thanks green.
I went over there and the posts are all new. Mine are gone.
Even the OP commented on his thread getting closed, and no knowledge of why.
I'm thinking it may be because he was mentioning coins he has for sale.....in the wrong forum.
Anyway, I'm glad to see it still going. I'm interested in the conclusion to the " 5 Centavo Solution " (w/ apologies to ACD)
