1929 P Penny ERROR extremely fine condition

    It seems as though the E In E PLURIBUS UNUM has a grease error making it look more like an L than an E. And also the 9's in the date dont seem right. Any opinions?

    My honest opinion..
    Circulation wear on a 89 year old Cent.
    The E is worn.
    The last 9 looks like it took a hit, also from circulation.
    Not a Mint Error.

    I concur with @paddyman98.

    It's well worn but not awful-looking for a circulated Wheatie of this age.

    Not an error, though.

    The "E" in E PLURIBUS indeed looks a little weird, but it's just smushy as a result of circulation.
