Here's a nice one I picked up a few years ago at a good price.

I of course was fooled when I came into a 1923.
At a glance, it looks like, well you know the rest.
    Nice key date.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

In lower grades, this is a key date. Above 63, however, this date is only semi-key.

How would you grade her? I'd WAG 63 on those pictures, but it's hard to accurately tell.

    Nice coin, either way.

Nice coin. I’m at the 63-4 range from the pics. I really don’t see any major marks. Nice original skin too. So many of these have been dipped out

Nice coin in spite of how nature treated it. I'm at MS63/64, myself.

I'm basically into world coins, but I bought this one because the price was right ($300) and I could see the quality under the toning. Dipping would only ruin this coin. I rarely dip a coin, only attempting to do so when that might improve the appearance (which isn't often).

The reverse is a bit fugly, looks like it has some acid fume damage, however...hi-profile strike on obverse and a nice coin to drool over.
