Also, and going only on the examples shown in a few of your threads, it appears as if at least some of the coins have been harshly cleaned and/or have other problems that will effect value. Keep in mind that just because you believe the coins picked from circulation by your father, this does not mean they are uncleaned or free of problems: the coins themselves are what will tell you if they've been cleaned or not. Placing a value on certain coins can sometimes be difficult as much depends on where, when, and to whom the coin is sold. On ebay it is not uncommon to see coins sell for substantially more than they would if sold at a B&M or small show. Please understand that common date circulated dollars are plentiful and are often bought/sold based on their melt value, so with such coins it may be best to use this as your baseline.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
