1928 $20 bill from District 5

    Definitely like the $20 note. Let us know what the coin dealer tells you about the condition and we can have a better idea as to what it is worth.

    Numeral notes were printed on the Series 1928 and 1928-A Series. They changed this as it was confusing to some folks as far as the denomination was concerned..how that was confusing is beyond me but that is what was reported.
    The condition of the note is always a factor and might I suggest you consider having it graded. Look closely to determine if any folds exist like bent corners, folds in the body of the note, stains, rubbing (handling marks) are present. Scans are very good at hiding this type of visual clue and it is difficult at best to judge it from such scan.
