    Good Evening,

I've been holding on to these bills for 15-20 years. I actually have a stack of 1976 $2's but this was the only star note. Does it have any value above and beyond face value? From what I've read, it probably does not because it is not from a small print run.

The silver cert is something I bought at a coin show about 20 years ago. I think I paid $5 for it. I got it because the back was different looking, and because it was older than the 1935, 35-A, and 35-B silver certs I already had in my collection.

What do you folks think? Thanks.

The 1976 Atlanta $2 Star is one of the more common star notes for the series, like the Boston, New York or St Louis Stars. Typically you can find these uncirculated for $10-$15. The 1928A $1 SC (Funny Back) is another popular note with over 2 billion printed, and can be found in uncirculated condition from $45-$85. Yours looks to be in "good to fine" condition.
