Would anyone have any information on this coin. I’ve seen similar coins go for a good bit of money and some face value. Some people say this is regular wear and tear, others say this is an error coin. Any information provided would be greatly appreciated! Thank, Teri
Looks like a 90 plus year old coin. Normal wear and tear. Not a full date and not worth a good bit of money. $0.30 to $0.50 in an AG grade.

@Teri77 it would be very helpful if you pointed out the area where you see something different. Your coin just looks like normal wear.
Welcome to the greatest hobby in the world. First lesson in coin valuation is condition is everything. While that isn’t true 100% of the time is is always true with common date coins which yours is. Certainly is a nice coin to build a collection around. But no great value there.
I concur, though I would grade it a bit higher than AG, personally. Looks at least G4 to me, maybe G6 on a good day. Click here to see the PCGS Photograde standards, and scroll to the left for the lower grades, if you want to compare. In G4 grade, it is a $1 coin, per Numismedia. This is a pretty common date and in low grade, so it is not worth a whole lot of money, though it's still a neat old classic coin which is 93 years old. The 1926-S (from San Francisco) is a better date, but yours lacks a mintmark letter below FIVE CENTS, so it is a Philadelphia mint coin.
