Looks like it's been cut by a knife. I see a cut mark with displaced metal vs. a raised ridge. Plus, if there had been a substantial die crack/break like that, it would be well known to us VAMpires out there.
You are correct. I was fooled because I ran a toothpick over the beginning part of the scratch and the area was raised, but further down I later saw the metal had been pushed up. Thank You.
